Flashing 'phone' icon on the Hughesnet Voice box - what does that mean?
The reps should be back on tomorrow. Hopefully they will reply then. In the meantime, you could also call the 800 number for support. It's 866-347-3292.

Any idea what the blinking light by the phone icon means?
There was a storm the night before, but it didn't even kill the power and the rain did not seem too hard.
Could something just be messed up in the records for the system? The Hughesnet Voice unit does connect and I can see the globe light is on showing data communication, but the phone light which is usually solid on is now flashing.
Does that flashing indicate some kind of hardware issue or is just that something was shutdown on the backend by accident?
The phone had no problem and was clear until yesterday morning when the phone icon light started flashing and there was no dial tone.

The reps haven't been around for 2 months. They won't be back. Right now OP's best bet is to call the 800 number....

I don't think they'd accept that. Your best bet is to have someone with you, so they can dial the number and you can talk to them and give them info.
