For last month speed of internet for home laptops has slowed down to almost unusable. Os there a way to do a speed test and fix this issue?

That's the site that the techs require for speed tests. Create a free account, then run the 25MB manual test for downloads, and the 4 MB manual test for uploads. It helps if you can run a few tests at different times a day. When you're done, post the link to your results in this thread.
