Slow to load, internet connectivity usually results in at least 1 retry
I’m a new Hughesnet customer, the modem blinks continuously and it takes forever to load the internet on all devices, is this the best I’m going to get for the price I’m paying? I still have services with kinectic till August 5th, for the money it is more superior if this is the best I’m going to get. I do remote work and it’s essential I have good internet service. Just need to know

First, Hughesnet, as you know, is a satellite internet provider, whereas Kinetic is a fiber-based internet. Their internet technologies are fundamentally different, which puts Kinetic in a completely different category in terms of speed. Hughesnet is mainly used as an option for those who do not have access to providers like Kinetic; it is not meant to be a replacement. This is especially true for working from home, as VPN services work fairly poorly with high-latency connections like satellite providers. While it can work, it is not consistent. While our company is incredible in terms of providing this service for those who do not have access to others, it may be a bit incompatible with your current needs. -Damian
