You are correct. I found out the hard way that I was lied to. If you want to play Warzone, Anthem, Destiny, or any other multi-player online game your best option is to call hughesnet and cancel your service and find someone better.
You do have the option of requesting a sales call review. If you plan on cancelling the service, I would recommend this, as it's likely the only way you'll see any kind of recourse regarding the Early Termination Fee. You can ask for the sales call review by starting a new topic in the "My Account and Billing" section and asking for it. Make sure to explain the reason for the request, as in the sales person saying it was okay for online gaming.
Again, if you plan to cancel the service I would highly recommend this before doing so.
