Is the HT-3000W modem dual band?

Had a new HT-3000W modem installed a couple weeks ago. My weather station now will not connect to the WiFi. The weather station needs 2.4Ghz in order to connect to WiFi. It appears this new modem may be only 5Ghz.

Yes it is dual band.  Under the System Control Center click WiFi settings.

You will need the router Admin password to open it. Password should be on the back of the Router.

Under the WiFi settings you will see 2.4 and 5 hz bands plus the guest settings. Just rename the Network Name(SSID) by adding -2.4 to the end of the name i.e ( hugh12345-2.4 ) then saving the settings.

You could also rename the 5 hz band by adding a -5 to the end. either method works.

If you are connected to the 2.4 band with the computer applying the setting you will most likely be disconnected from the Wifi. Just reconnect to the renamed 2.4 band.
