Bill Payment

Hi everybody :

Is it possible to receive a paper bill ?  Rather than pay by Checking Account ?

I believe you can receive a monthly invoice, if you  pay a $5 fee, but payments remain automatic, deducted from a credit card or bank account.  Receiving an invoice won't change that.

EDIT:  Actually, I may be wrong, judging by this 2018 post:  https://community.hughesnet.com/t5/myAccount-and-Billing/Re-Switch-to-invoice-billing/m-p/96575/high...

Here's more info: http://customer.kb.hughesnet.com/pages/1213.aspx

A HughesNet staff member will clarify how this works, I hope. 🙂

If it's still available to call and change to (I don't know if it is), you can make manual payments with Invoice Billing, whether it's making a manual electronic payment each month, like with a credit or debit card or from a checking account, or sending a check or money order through the mail.

Good morning folks,

Always good to clarify billing topics; if you're on autopay, it's paperless billing and you save $5/month.

If you are on autopay and want a physical bill, you can print your latest bill once it has generated from your online HughesNet account. Here's how to view your bills online.

Thanks,

Liz

Liz,
I have a question about my ever rising bill.
3 months ago my bill was $111 and change, then it went up to $112, then $113. Now it's up to $132, what's up?

@PandTsoder

Though I'm sure Liz will tell you, from the amount it's likely that you had a discount end.

You can see your current and past invoices, as well as a breakdown of the charges in them, by signing into the HughesNet My Account site and clicking on the "My Bill" header.

Good morning PandTsoder,

I'm glad you found the community, thank you for posting. As Gabe already beat me to it, you can see the breakdown of your bill online to determine why the price changed.

From what I can see, the initial change was an increase in the federal tax, and the more recent change (happened in Dec) was the price of the Express Repair service increased from $7.95 to $8.99.

Hope that clears things up! In the future, as Gabe noted, you can see these changes online where all your bills are accessible. Here's a video that shows you how: http://support.hughesnet.com/en/faq/account_billing/understanding-my-bill

I'll go ahead and close this thread since the original poster has not replied in a while. Feel free to start your own thread if you have further questions.

Thanks,

Liz
