I have been a Hughes Net customer since Nov 2017. At the moment I am totally dissatified with their service for several reasons. Mainly the cost of the available upgrade packages. I started out with their basic package of 10 gigabytes, and subsequently upgraded to 20 gigas, because the 10 gigas was not enough for my needs and the difference in cost of the upgrade I found reasonable. I still need more data, but the next upgrade up is cost prohibitive. They want $99 /month for 30 gigas. I would switch on a dime to my phone company or my cable company if I could, but their services are limited in my location. The phone company Claro offers me 100 gigas for $30/mo, but their lines are currently down, since hurricane Maria.. The minute they connect me, I am switching to them for internet access.
