Well, that didn't work. I tried using the HTML editor as it didn't seem to eat my white space. Alas, as soon as I posted, all my white space dissapeared. Here is the message as I meant it to be: My first computer was the Texas Instruments ti99/4a. I chose it over the Commodore vic20, because it seemed to have better sound and graphics, and at the time there was more children's educational software available for it than the vic20. Of course, the Commodore 64 was soon to surpass it in every way. The OS was TIBASIC, so I learned to program in BASIC. I was an industrial electrician at the time, and this was sort of the start of my later career as a programmer/integrator. It had 16k of memory, and the only affordable data storage device was a cassette deck. For a monitor one used a color TV and a RF modulator. If either one of the two cell phones you mentioned is an Iphone, that could be your problem, Iphones can use gigs of data in a short period of time.

Switching providers ( if even possible ) may not help, because you could actually end up with the same sorry tech company you have now. For example, the company I use now does Dishtv, Directv, Hughes, Viasat, et al. I don't even call the provider if I'm having trouble, I call them first.

Back in the days before anyone had even heard of an emoji, regular characters were used to the same effect. For example: I used a ':', '>', ')', '>', to mean I'm smiling and I have a beard. If I try to do the same thing here, the message editor changes the ':', '>' to the emoji used by the editor, even when enclosed in quotes. Is there a way to turn this off?

I often get this error message when trying to post: Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied. I can't see that anything has been removed from the message, and when I hit post again it works. It's probably just operator error on my part, but what error?

To get back to the "admin" password press the reset button on the back of the modem for 10 seconds. By "hidden", I'm assuming you mean that it still works, but nobody else except you can see it. You can turn it off from the wifi settings. but that's not really "hidden". I would just password protect it and not worry about who could see it.
