I made the mistake of updating my usage meter again. Anyone have a link to the older one that shows the graph? It is so helpful because you can see where your are during the month and where you should be. I checked my old post about this question and the link to the download does not seem to exist anymore.

A friend of mine just upgraded from Gen 4 to Gen 5 business. He got a new modem but the dish was not repointed. Should the dish have been repointed for this upgrade to be true Gen 5?

Recovery completed. Upgrading to Windows 10 downloading now. Oh my data is going to take a hit this month. Guess I will eat into my tokens.

The scan that is running now shows no infections so far. I will let it complete then I think I will do a recovery on the machine. She doesn't have anything important on it anyway. That seems like the safest way to insure it is gone.

Nope. Only 1 showing and it says Geek. So I am assuming they deleted all the restore points and that one most likely will include any virus or keylogger that may be in the machine.

Uh oh. I wanted to uninstall this to be safe. However it is apparantly hidden. It is not a visible program that can be un-installed. Gonna run the suggested 2 Microsoft programs above.

A friend of mine used this service to fix their computer. She did not know if she did the right thing and brought it to me to check out. I run Malewarbytes and Comodo Anit-virus. Both come back clean. Is this "America Geeks" a legit service?

Thanks for the tips and suggestions folks. I will look into them. No Gabe I am not considering hooking up my Directv to the Internet. I wanted to record the show on my Genie and then somehow use my laptop to burn that show to a DVD. I know hooking it up to the Internet is data sucide.

I want to record a show with my Directv Genie. Then I want to put that show on a DVD. I will have to use my laptop to burn it to the cd. Is there a way to do this? If not ideas on how to get a show that was recorded on my Genie to a disk.
