I went to a friend's house to create the account. I am able to access Instagram using my IP. The problem occured only when creating the Instagram account. How long will it take to transfer Hughesnet users to this new beam(s)? I am currently on beam #68 and my internet is very slow. A download speed between .17 - 1.31. Tech services tested the speed and the download speed was 0!!!!! Hughesnet engineering stated that my slow speed is caused by overloaded beam #68 and there will be no relief until Echostar 24 is operational. When do you expect that to be? thank you. Re: IP address blacklisted To be clear, I did not cause this blacklist. the IP address assigned by Hughesnet is blacklisted. When I unplugged the modem as you suggested, my IP address changed again to one in that same range. And it is blacklisted also. So I have been assigned three IP addresses in two days and they are all blacklisted. Why should I have to use a VPN? It's an added hassle for me and may slow the network. This is the HughesNet statement about using VPNs: "If you do need to use a VPN, we recommend you try to limit your activities while connected. If you remain in the VPN for internet activities which do not require VPN access, it can potentially slow the network and will also use more of your service plan data." Are other HugheNet customers having this same issue when using Instagram or Threads? My IP address changed today and this one is blacklisted also. How often does the IP address change? A Google search found that ISPs are assigned a range of static IP address. this is (one) Hughesnet range: My IP address from yesterday and today are both in that range...start 97.73. KEJ Data Tokens Missing Moderators: On Nov. 2, 2022, my 75 GB plan data and 50 GB bonus zone data were replenished. However, my 682 GB of data tokens were not rolled over, resulting in a 0 GB balance. From Nov. 2nd - Nov. 29th, I placed 7 calls to HughesNet Customer Service, Technical Support, to request that my data tokens be restored to my account. I also emailed HughesNet Support re: this issue. On Nov. 18th, my 5th call to HughesNet Customer Service, I finally spoke to a mod/supervisor, Matt B. He acknowledged that my 682 GB of data tokens had not rolled over on Nov. 2nd. Mr. B. told me that he needed to work with corporate/headquarters to resolve the issue, and he would call me back no later than Nov. 23rd. I never heard back from Matt B. and my data token balance is still 0 GB. Per my review of the HughesNet Support Community message board, I noticed that another customer's data tokens also went missing in Nov. Fortunately for this customer, his 200 GB of data tokens were restored to his account. As a 25+ year customer, I am very disappointed that my 682 GB of data tokens have still not been restored to my account - it has been over a month since my first request! Thanks for your help. Solved
