I have ADblocker and I double checked and the only device connected is laptop. I am again almost out of data for the month. Even earlier than last month. I'll be going back to 56kps.

Last month I ran out of data. It looks like this month too. I have had hughesnet for several years now and it has happened before a couple times, but this is 2 months in a row now. I dont watch movies. I only have my laptop hooked to modem. Wifi is off. I had glasswire, but I do not understand it. I see my bonus data is very rarely used. I have not had any huge downloads. 20 GB has always lasted me all month.

I know. But thats about being throttled. This is anytime. Even when I have data and I have 25mps of speed.

Why can i watch videos, like live video on Facebook, or youtube videos without interuption on my computer using my cell phone as a hotspot, but with Hughesnet, Facebook is impossible to watch, and other videos keep stopping and starting?

I know it blinks some, but it goes off for up to 5 secs at a time, thenthe webpages wont load.

For the past several weeks when I open my browser (any) my transmit light on my router keeps going on and off. It prevents me from doing anything. It does it when there are only a couple of clouds, and cloudy skies. It always worked unless it was real heavy clouds or rain. When I try to go to any web pages they dont come up. Its getting real tiresome. Today it is cloudy, but not heavy, and no rain. I am on mobile hot sport on my phone to do this post.

Just called tech support for the 3rd time as the weather cleared up. They said its the modem. But 3 to 5 days for shipping !!! Any rel reading this, isnt there a way to over night ship????

I dont see anything. The 192.168.0.1 does not work. The wi fi is not working. The only thi g working is power light.

My internet has been down all day. Only the power light is on router. Called tech support twice and they had me reboot a few times, but nothing. They keep telling me its the weather. There was light rain earlier and cloudy, but now no rain and light clouds. If it wont work in this weather I dont want it! They said they cant roll repair until it clears up. Never had trouble before with this kinda light weather. I think I will cancel.

My speed with Hughesnet is fine. I have my laptop direct wired to modem, no other devices on system. When I try to watch most youtube vids, I get the constant buffering. Little circle going round and round! I have it set on lowest quality, 144. I even tried to turn off the video saving mode, but that does not help. I like to watch youtube vids on how to play guitar, but I only get a few short seconds and then buffering, buffering! Any help would be appreciated.

I had the usage meter and it was working before a windows update, but since that update it will not open. I uninstalled and reinstalled it but it will not open when I click on the icon.

My speed since that inital 20 day period where data resets has gone way down. I am just wondering if it will stay that way or what the deal is. I see quite a few people have trouble with speed. When I signed up, they stressed to me that my speed would be much faster than my 10mbps DSL. Ijust tried pasting my results link here but it wont let me. Hi. I am new to HughesNet and satellite internet. My dsl I had was 10mbps. Yesterday they installed HughesNet. I noticed tonite it has seemed kinda slow loading pages. I tried you tube but vids would load real slow and then stop every few seconds. I did a speed test yeaterday and it was 30mbps. I just did a couple tonite and the download speed was 1-2mbps. Is this normal?
