Modem failed - need a new one

My modem has died. No lights on.  I have been through all the diagnostics, the outlet is good, etc.  How do I get a new one?  Is there a 3rd party modem that will work as a replacement?  Thanks.

A new modem arrived and I installed it according to the directions, but it never completes the install process.  It gets stuck in "install parameter" where it says "tuning".  It takes about 30 minutes to reach 100%, then starts over.  I let this run all night and it is still stuck in the tuning loop.  I did finally unplug, wait, and plug it in again, but the same install problem occurs.

    I would call the tech support line so they can troubleshoot it live with you.
