Puzzle: no internet with state code 0.0.0.
Thank for reaching out and I am sorry this has happened. Your remote readings mirror the stats you posted here so from a surface look, we are not seeing anything abnormal there either. Before we escalate this, is this happening at roughly the same time every evening? Can you also remind me if you have a ground dish or if it is on the roof? -Damian
Damian ,
I have a ground dish.
Starting on August 25, the internet has been dropping completely between 7 and 8 pm, and comes back between 11 and midnight. So yes, roughly the same time since the 25th. No issues at all before that. ETA: thank you for the quick response, BTW.

Thank you for providing me this info. I was going to hypothesize that something was maybe blocking the ground dish each night but with the downtime being relatively short I don't think that's likely. Something like that would also give a much different state code than our normal fully operational. Lastly, are there any new structures or items around the modem during those times and is your PC or laptop the only device you are experiencing this on? Only reason I ask is the screenshot looks like its from a pc or laptop so I just wanted to make sure that this was a broad issue amongst all your devices and not just happening on this one device. This is especially important since your modem shows fully operational even while the issue is happening. -Damian

The dish has a clear view of the sky, with no trees or any structures blocking the line of sight. As for the modem, there's nothing blocking it at any time. Yes, the screenshot was from a laptop, but the issue happens on all the devices that are connected to the network at the time the internet drops. The devices are several Windows laptops and also iOS devices. They all lose the internet. The laptops all show the globe icon to indicate there's no internet at all.
I tried several devices last night, and they were all having the same issue. I also tried them on the 5GHz radio, just in case, but that didn't connect either.
The internet was down from around 8 pm to a little past midnight, then it came back like nothing had happened. During all the time the internet was unreachable, the modem showed no errors at all, and the code was 0.0.0

Update: At 7:58 pm the internet dropped, but the modem continues to show no errors at all. I'm using the very slow Verizon hotspot to post this update.
In case it helps at all, I tried connecting directly to the modem with an Ethernet cable, but it didn't make any difference.
Hopefully you can find some way of fixing this quickly...I need the internet for work.
Thanks for all your help!

maratsade,
That is very strange. I'm going to try anything I can right now remotely and hopefully it makes a difference but it is a bit difficult to do when there are no errors being reported by the modem. I apologize for this scenario and prefer when there is a clear reason as it can be fixed the quickest. These issues are the worst as they take investigation beyond the normal and time which is inconvenient. With that being said, if what I try on my end does not work, the best I can do is escalate this internally but we do have the weekend and holiday coming up. While I'm confident there will be a fast response once we are back in office, that may be too long for you. I am apologizing in advance for the inconvenience if it gets to that point. -Damian
