Video Data Saver Question

If I am streaming a movie on Amazon Prime (free) that is in HD does the video data saver lower it to SD?

 

Amazon does not offer a choice for choosing SD for free movies.

Provided that you have the streaming resolution set to auto, it should, but it might not.  Video Data Saver just wont work with some streaming services, usually ones that don't auto-adjust the resolution to match the users speed.
