We have been saying right along that the systems run well. What do you expect? 🙂

Now ya went and done it. Beetlejuice, Beetjuice, Beetlejuice!

Everybody except us probably out shopping for Super Bowl.

"Didn't even know that stupid thing was this month. :)"

Can you imagine people wasting time watching that when the could be making Epic posts here on the 'net?

Will be a lot of sick call-ins to work Monday.

Been 30+ years since I was into football. I hear some of the team names on TV or radio now and don't recognize them.

Where is  everybody?

Howdy all, I've been testing Verizon wireless. Verdict: it's not nearly as good as Hughesnet, speed-wise.

Shelves are empty of chips and beer.

Phone tethering, the USB dongle or the mobile hotspot?

I was shopping, but not for the Superbowl.  Just raiding the grocery store.

I may not even watch the Superbowl.  The only times I ever faithfully watched it was four years in a row, when my team was in it, but lost all four times.  You can guess who I mean.  Haven't watched it much in the years since.

The mobile hotspot. Works a treat if you're just browsing, and right now it's actually streaming Netflix and allowing me to browse.  Downloading big files, though, seems to choke it and it gets very, very slow.

Ah.  It might come in handy when you really need it, so that's a good thing.

Have used hotspot as a backup for quite some time. ATT&T here, it is fast sometimes and slow others, not unlike satellite really. Big killer for me is the cost especially since I have Ultra plan.

Exactly. I only have a small bit of data, but it can help in a pinch.

Verizon is a bit more expensive than HN, but it's not prohibitive, and now you can carryover data -- which is why I had more data to play with.

I think I will pounce on the Ultra plan if it's ever available here.

Truth be told there are posting seasons here.. Testing periods for college, summer and winter break...then a little after Christmas when everyone gets new gadgets.

But as for this weekend, it could have been the Lady Gaga concert on Sunday.
