There's all the plastic people, too. ETA: seriously, who came up with the idea that pineapple was good on pizza, anyway? I love pineapple, but not mixed with pepperoni and tomato sauce. In Japan, they put corn on pizza (one of the less bizarre things they put on pizza, actually). Italy dies a little every time someone puts pineapple, corn, seaweed, scallops, clams, soy sauce, etc. @MarkJFine wrote: only thing I hate about the left coast is pineapple on a pizza.

According to the Hughesnet legal site: "The exact amount of the Service Termination Fee will be $400 for the first ninety (90) days after activation of the HughesNet Service. Thereafter, the amount will decrease by $15 per month for each month of active Service." So if you cancel within the first 90 days after activation, the ETF is $400. After those 90 days have passed, the fee goes down by $15 every month.

"You said many on here are satisfied but the only positive customer I've seen on here is you, granted I would love to hear more from the other positive customers." I'm perfectly happy with my service. I've been a customer for over 12 years. Edit: I don't use Skype but I watch videos on Hulu and Netflix all the time, and they work well. I have even used VPN just fine (others haven't been able to).

Dedds88, you have a choice to pay the ETF and cancel the service, or continue and do some troubleshooting on this site to see what's going on. It's pretty much up to you. You're under a legal contract, so nothing that's happening is illegal and you will have to continue paying or face legal and financial consequences. You might want to be proactive and troubleshoot the system with the help of people on this site, and find out how to maximize the service. It's very likely your cameras are the culprits, like Gokartego says. Satellite internet has limitations, which you may have learned during your research phase before you decided to contract with the company.

The "Do Androids...?" story is dark and depressing, like most everything the guy wrote (I bet his last name would get bleeped, so I'm not using it...LOL), and I like him as a writer. The replicants were pretty nasty, there was a really weird religion, drug use,and lots of stuff that probably made sense if you were a hippie into psychidelic stuff. Not a bad story, just, different. The story "We'll remember it for you wholesale" (also written by PKD -- it was the inspiration for the movie Total Recall) was excellent. I liked the movie a lot too, but it had almost nothing to do with the story.

I read Dune and saw the movie. Loved both. The story Blade Runner is based on is very different from the movie -- the replicants, for one, aren't sympathetic at all; they're really psychotic. The movie softened them a lot. @MarkJFinewrote: Love Blade Runner. So many classic lines and a classic cast. Edit: Many people think David Lynch ruined Dune... I feel the same about BR as I do Dune... awesome cast, and quite a few memorable lines.
