Phone # Porting Problems
I have tried to port my phone number FROM HughesNet TO Windstream/Kinetic now that I have access to high speed fiber but it appears that Windstream in unable to bring the number to their service. Can someone give me a better explanation than what I've received from the ISPs and if there is any kind of work around. Windstream is telling me that since my Hughsnet phone number is in a different "region" that they cannot get it from Hughsnet, I have absolutely NO option for porting over. Ive had this # for 30+ years and really want to retain it. Is it possible to use a 3rd party phone service to bring the number back into my local "region" and then port to Windstream? I am porting my existing phone number FROM HughesNet TO another service and will need to provide them a PIN along with the phone number. I've looked at the online phone service portal and my detailed bill but the PIN is not shown. Where/how do I get this PIN # from HughesNet? Thanks, Bruce
Home phone doesn't work. Tells me check internet
I don't have cell phone so the house phone is my only way to contact anyone but it hasn't worked in over a week .I have to call and refill medication and can not. Every time I get the chatbot and start to talk to someone on msg my Internet blanks out and it cut off my msg and I have to start over it's been about 5 or 6 times my phone won't work I don't no what to do
