Speed tests
On 3/13/19 I ran a speed test using speedof.me and had a download speed of 6.7 Mbps. I immediately turned around and did a Hughesnet seed test and the result was 41 Mbps. Upload speeds were similar. Just FYI.
Speedofme and similar apps are not reliable for satellite internet. Please use testmy.net for your speed tests, especially if you need support with speed issues, as testmy.net is required in order to escalate speed issues to corporate engineers.

I just tried that speedof.me. It was WAY off, as verified by networx. I tried it twice before starting networx, and the two tests were very similar. I think 3.6Mbps down and 3.9Mbps down, if I remember correctly. The uploads were 1.8Mbps (I think), 1.9Mbps. I didn't try the upload with testmy.net until just now, so it's not on the networx graph, but it was 2.8Mbps.
While networx was running, speedof.me gave me a result of 4.1Mbps down and 1.9Mbps up, whereas testmy.net gave me a result of 31.1Mbps down. This was with the VDS off, though I don't think it makes a difference with speedof.me.
