Why is my wifi signal only working in the house . Shouldnt it pick up where ever in my whole yard and inside my home

The signal extends only to a certain radius from the modem, getting progressively weaker the further it is from the modem. You can measure the Wi-Fi signal strength using the HughesNet app, so you can see where it stops.
