You need to stop posting now, as what you're doing is considered trolling and it isn't helping your case at all and might actually get you banned from the community for violating the community's rules. I understand you are frustrated and would like a resolution, but your best move now is to wait for the Hughesnet moderators to address your concerns, They are in M-F from 9-5. Give them time to check your accuont and to respond, and cease posting until they do. *I am not a Hughesnet employee or representative. That state code means you've exceeded your data allowance and your speed will be throttled until your data resets. Edit: check http://192.168.0.1/ -- this will tell you if you're out of data.

John, make sure to connect your device directly to the modem via Ethernet cable (this helps determine whether the problem is with the modem). You should create a free account at Testmy.net, as these are the only speed tests that HN accepts. You would then run some speed thests there and the site keeps logs that the mods or engineers can view and analyze. Do you have Gen 4 or Gen 5?

Wifi phones don't work well with satellite internet due to the latency that's inherent to satellite. You may want to try Hughesnet Voice. (I personally don't use it so I don't know how well it works).

@GabeU, there's also the fact that this is a customer-to-customer site, so this is what we do, we answer questions, and the mods, including Amanda, typically let us answer other customer's questions and don't intervene unless it's something we cannot answer. The message tags are for categorizing and search purposes. If your question is for a specific person, a name and comma, like with the opening of a personal letter, will do the trick.

Sometimes it takes several days. They will update you when they have information. Having the dish pole-mounted does help with keeping it free of snow and slush, but it may not change reception necessarily. I have my DirecTV roof mounted and my HN dish pole mounted. Reception varies for both in bad weather, and can't be predicted. I've had excellent reception during snow days, and bad reception during rainy days, and vice versa. In my case, ice on the HN dish is what makes reception so poor, and removing that can be tricky, because you might accidentally misalign the dish. Edit: also, the installers usually put the dish where it can get the best line to the satellite, so maybe yours is on the roof because that's the best location (there are installers who post on this site, and I hope one of them will correct me if I'm wrong). Additionally, you will likely have to foot the bill for the job. @soulbarn wrote: Right now, my dish is on the roof.
