Still no internet after 24 hours - called twice to talk to people that can barely speak English just to say there’s an outage and they’re working on it after being on hold for 30 minutes both times - garbage rip off internet with non existent customer service - what a total joke and waste of money 🗑️🚮🚮🚮🚮🚮🚮
Phone # Porting Problems
I have tried to port my phone number FROM HughesNet TO Windstream/Kinetic now that I have access to high speed fiber but it appears that Windstream in unable to bring the number to their service. Can someone give me a better explanation than what I've received from the ISPs and if there is any kind of work around. Windstream is telling me that since my Hughsnet phone number is in a different "region" that they cannot get it from Hughsnet, I have absolutely NO option for porting over. Ive had this # for 30+ years and really want to retain it. Is it possible to use a 3rd party phone service to bring the number back into my local "region" and then port to Windstream? Thanks, Bruce
