Can I use my own google mesh? I was told I can use my own google mesh when I placed order but the tech who installed the sat dish and modem told me I cant use my own google mesh. It will disable my internet service and will require a tech to go to the roof to register the internet again.9Views0likes0CommentsHt2000 keeps rebooting
A few days ago I turned on the power to my ht1100 and it remained dark. I called support and after some diagnosis they sent me an ht2000. After an hour of power the lights would come on for 10 seconds then off for 30 ad infinitum. Tried it several times, same thing. Support sent me a second modum same thing. Today after speaking with support they are sending a third modem. I'm thinking unless this is common failure something else is likely the problem. Mabe the antenna or coax, a short? Don't see how, but what do I know, lol. Just looking for a little guidance. Thanks, BillSolved64Views0likes1CommentEmail notifications stopped again
I'm subscribed to the posts on this site, and typically I get an email notification when there is a new post or a reply. Those notifications go to HN Webmail and get forwarded to my personal email. The notifications stopped yesterday, 5/14/25. They're not appearing in Webmail or in my personal email. Damian or Remy , could you please look into this? Thanks! I also don't see the forwarding setting any more. See image below. The setting doesn't appear in any of those sections.32Views0likes2CommentsCan’t connect to Apple Maps server
About a week ago, on multiple devices running old and new MacOS and current iOS, Apple Maps stopped being able to pull up directions and provide addresses when connected to our Hughesnet router. None of the devices had been updated at the time it stopped working. Nothing is searchable in Maps (“No matching places found”), and trying to get directions results in “A route can’t be shown because of a problem connecting to the server”. Devices and Hughesnet router have been reset several times and one iPhone’s location and privacy settings were reset with no change. I’ve attempted multiple times to factory reset the HT3000W router, but haven’t been able to figure that one out. I turned off firewall and QoS settings with no change. There’s no port mapping or other unusual settings. Searching hasn’t found anything useful.Solved74Views0likes4CommentsIncreasingly Frequent Lag
Hi 👋🏼😊 Over the past month or so, I've been having sooo much lag. Not storm related; it's happening on perfectly clear days and nights. I do stay "in the red" on my anytime allowance, but the slowdowns have never been like lately. The lagging happens when my data refreshes for the month, and for the "free" data after 2am. Happens on all devices. The only thing that's changed is we added a Roku tv probably 3 months ago. But it didn't seem to cause any issues. It's completely unplugged as I'm typing this and the lag is current. I don't know if something possibly needs checking or what's going on. My router is an HT2000W. Thank you 🤗 ETA: Even mobile games I've played on Hughesnet for years are struggling to let me sign in due to the lag (doesn't happen on mobile data) We don't have any "smart" appliances possibly causing the issues, either. Thought these additional add ons might possibly help diagnose 🫣104Views0likes4CommentsFAP Condition
Hello my service has really been getting worse over the last month or so. I just got onto my account and noticed it's in FAP condition. I don't know if that's what it is or what, but I know it's not doing nothing but getting worse and for the money I pay for it, I'm getting tired of being disconnected every time I turn around or no interent!56Views0likes1CommentWhy can't I get new router?
I've been a Customer for many years. For the first couple years Hughesnet was great. But over the recent couple years I continue to fight to get good service. My upload and download are sketchy at best. Signal dropping out, then starting again. Tech support tells me my connection is OK, but it is no where close to what is advertised. Every time I call tech support it's the same thing, change frequency, which will only give me a slight improvement. I asked for a new router and was told no. I asked if I could provide my own, was told no. Has anyone else had issues like this? And how did you solve the problem?90Views0likes1Comment
