It is quite silly that you use a system label (in this case, Professor) as an insult, but your attitude is not surprising, as you have exhibited your mean spiritedness often. It's just silly and childish. Instead of constantly undermining the work some of us do here, why don't you join us? Why don't you provide any help whatsoever? It seems your only job here is to undermine and criticise I'm sorry I forgot only the Mods & the ELITE have a right to have an opinion.

This is only my opinion. Tech support should be handled by the MODS not others, who think they know everything. If this site was run by HN, not the "Professors" there would be less problems. JMHO

It was only the community that was down; I could access everything else. A system status page would've been nice to have, with something like, "we're experiencing login errors for the HN community. We're reported this to our provider and are waiting for them to fix the issue." That is what I meant. The problem I had is I did some updates on my laptop. When I called support they said it was my network. I asked if they could contact the mods on this site to see if there was a problem. The response was no, there is nothing wrong with the site. I spent 6 hours trying to figure out what I did wrong. It is all good now.

This is a nonhughes question. I noticed about 6 mos. ago that my printer doesnot print from the internet correctly. When I try to print, it print two lines of print. I found a workaround. If I copy & paste to MS word it print clearly.This only happens in the body of what is being printed. I have tried aligning the printer cartridges. No help. Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone have a fix for this? Thank you
