Slow Speeds What's Up ?

The last 2 days buffering has become a problem.

8:30 Pm pst. Ok the next morning, now again, about 4 Pm pst. 8.25.2024 . There was sporadic service days before , it seems to be more frequent.

Speeds tests show 300 KPS or slower. What's up ?

  • Having poor performance with Hughes Gen 6 on my beam, speeds are below 1 Mp after noon , and unusable after 7 Pm, would downgrading to Gen 5 give me better performance?

    I had better consistent over all speeds with Gen 5.

    5 was better than 4 , but when 6 works well (at 4-5 Am) , but around noon, and especially evenings now , I cannot watch any youtube videos even at 250 dpi, the buffering problem.

    Did Hughes exceed the capacity of the Gen 6 satellite on my beam (19) I think. N Ca. ? I had a call from Hughes, and a courtesy tech visit, I see very erratic performance, but evenings for a while now , and even other times, the performance was better with 5 ,much less, or no buffering. Just a question, anyone else have this?

      Great Improvement 10.11 @ 12:30 Pm.

      I have a pleasant surprise- the fastest speeds ever since I had Gen 6.

      It appears a solution was found for my speed problem 🙂

        10.15 - I am happy to report great consistent speeds since 10.10 . I thank all at Hughes for fixing the speed problem .

      Hi Remy, Yes still have a problem, I couldn't run a hughes speed test last nite , that bad. I ran 3 testmytest.com speed tests, the average was 280kps.

      As you can see, there is still a problem. Thanks
