We contacted HughesNet a week or so ago about not having internet service. They went through all the checks and discovered we needed a new modem. We just received the modem and hooked it up. Only lights displaying are Power, LAN, and WiFi. Please help, we need this up and running ASAP, my daughter is supposed to be doing her online summer school, and isn't able to connect to the internet!

The HughesNet reps on this site won't be back until Monday -- you may want to try the 800 number and see if those reps can run remote diagnostics on your connection. Otherwise, the reps on this site can check things out next week.
Also, is there a weather issue going on that may be affecting your connection? Sometimes even thick cloud cover can affect the satellite signal.
