I'll try to remember to do that, but in the meantime I came up with the ultimate solution. I just spent the morning giving up on Outlook and moving over to Apple Mail. I have sunk too much time already in tech calls and conversations with three providers (you, my email host, and my Internet access provider). Went to Gmail and disabled imap they say you cannot use both at the same time. Back to Outlook and ran repair,NO ERRORS this time Started to receive emails so Hughes must have done something. You can have an Higher Tech call me and i can tell him what my settings are in Account mode. Hi folks,   Thank you for your patience, while we finally got an explanation for the likely reason for the more frequent logouts:   Once a user has authenticated within the community it is largely controlled by the LiSESSIONID cookie. This cookie is considered a session cookie, so whenever someone closes their browser it is removed per the standard session cookie policies. When this cookie is removed due to the browser being closed you should find that you are logged out the next time you visit the community and will have to log in again.    This may also explain why this happens when users are closing their browser tabs depending on how their browser is configured, as browsers can be configured to delete cookies when a tab is closed.    Sessions will also automatically expire on their own within a community, which should be 2 hours for the HughesNet community (note: this is assuming the user didn't close their browser or clear their cookies). Session expiration will begin counting down based on the last action taken by a user. If the user takes some other action before 2 hours has passed their session should be "refreshed" and the count down will start again. This may explain the variance that some of the users are reporting from day to day as they may be active more one day than they are the other (e.g.: someone who is active over the course of a 12 hour period should stay logged in throughout that period, whereas someone who is active for 1 hour then inactive for 2 hours will have to log in again).    If you're experiencing log-out issues which aren't explained by the above, please post back describing your experience and include a time stamp and your time zone so that Lithium can check their logs.       ... This is true I am in Mojave Desert california and we get reallly high hurricane winds over 100mph.  My hughesnet may slow down intermittently but there is really no effect at all since the high winds are isolated to my area.  Hughesnet only acted up when all of California was flooding from that huge rainstorm.  While a river ran through my driveway out to the street and sinkholes opened up several blocks away from here the hughesnet slowed down dramatically.   Since I never get dropped connection.  Mine is always on 24/7 with up to 5 people (1 computer 4 tablets) on at the same time and no problems except speed because of sharing. I have come to think that maybe Hughesnet satellite internet is specifically for us rural out in the deserts and mountains and wilderness's where no DSL or Cable TV is available but Hughesnet is.  I think the signal in a major city or town cant reach as easy the dish because of major interferance.  Where I am so isolated I have 0 interference from radio, cable tv or DSL.  We share a landline party type phone so nobody (10 People) all dropped landlines and have their cell phones only. so nobody has a landline out here anymore either.   Does anyone as rural as I am have the same meltdowns and speed problems as the rest of the people??  Are the people with the most problems in a major city or town??    You have to think in a city like Los Angeles your direct view of the sky is not so direct with all the activity in the skies above LA from LAX and every direction?? All the radio waves.  Your radio spectrum is totally full of activity all day every day as well.   There is alot to consider maybe hughesnet is truly meant for the ruralites instead of the suburbanites who should maybe stick to DSL service. something I know nothing about because I will never have it. ...
